HCLTech acquired Germany's ASAP Holding, an automotive engineering company, for $276 million, bolstering its advanced technology capabilities within the rapidly expanding automotive engineering services sector. 

In August, Parsons Corporation acquired cyber and technology company Sealing Technologies for $175M to expand Parson’s customer base across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. 

Capital Appreciation acquired South African software engineering and development services provider Dariel Solutions for $4.7 million.

Indian company KFin Technologies acquired AI, machine learning and mobility solutions developer WebileApps for $1.3 million. 

IoT software engineering services provider Mobica, headquartered in Manchester England, was acquired by Cognizant for $335M. This acquisition will help expand Cognizant's IoT embedded software engineering capabilities across the technology and automotive industries.

Calspan, a provider of aerospace engineering, design, research, testing, and IT development services, was acquired by TransDigm Group for $725M to enhance the company's established positions across a diverse range of aftermarket-focused aerospace & defense development and testing services. 

One of the top acquirers in 2022, Converge Technology Solutions bought Corum client CBI, which focuses on cybersecurity solutions. With this acquisition CBI expands Converge security portfolio immediately by bringing more strategic partnerships and a team of strong technical resources across North America.  

In November, real estate business process outsourcing (BPO) services Eximius BPO based in the Philippines was acquired by real estate business productivity software company NTrust Infotech. This acquisition will enable NTrust to significantly boost Eximius BPO’s capabilities and expand the client-base which it currently serves. 

Real estate digital photography and video production company CoreLogic Solutions was acquired by Afghanistan-based business management company Urbanimmersive for $6.4M. This acquisition will help expand the company’s presence in many US regions and is setting the table for cross-selling opportunities with Breakaway. 

In other 2022 deals, R Systems International, a provider of IT and big data analytics, was acquired by private equity firm Blackstone for $183.9M at 1.9 times revenue to grow its customer experience service line.
